Beschreibung

Cooperatives cut across all sectors of the economy and provide an important framework for mobilization of both human and capital resources. This study on stakeholders perceptions on Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs) as governed by universally accepted seven cooperative principles, adopted a survey design and descriptive structure comprised of 384 respondents; local authority employees, route operators and matatu users in Taita Taveta County, Kenya. A stratified random sampling of matatu owners was done before data analysis and interpretation. This book reviews the matatu owners perception of cooperatives with good and effective regulatory policies in enhancing performance on matatu business in Voi, Kenya.
