Theodor Baums is Professor emeritus for Business Law. His career took him from the Universities of Bonn, Muenster, Osnabrueck to Frankfurt a. M. and as a visiting Professor from U.C. Berkeley, the University of Vienna to Stanford CA and Columbia/New York. He has frequently advised public institutions nationally and on an international level and has numerous articles and books in the fields of company law and corporate governance, the law of corporate finance, antitrust and the history of business law. He has been awarded several prizes for his achievements, inter alia the Order of Merit 1. Class of the Federal Republic of Germany and honorary doctorates. Hermann Remsperger has been a Distinguished Fellow at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS) since 2015. At the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank he was in charge of economics, statistics and research from 1998 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009 he was responsible for »International Relations«, representing the central bank at the EU, OECD, 67, G20 and the Financial Stability Forum. Before joining the Bundesbank, he had been chief economist at BHF-Bank for 14 years. At the same time, Remsperger taught as Honorary Professor at Goethe-University. As Chairman of the Foundation for Monetary and Financial Stability he also chaired the Board of Trustees of the IMFS since its establishment until 2015. In 2016, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit first class. Prof. Volker Wieland, Ph.D., holds the Endowed Chair of Monetary Economics at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability (IMFS) at Goethe University Frankfurt and is a member of the German Council of Economic Experts. He is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), a member of the Kronberger Kreis and a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the German Ministry of Finance. He has served as a consultant to a number of institutions, including the European Central Bank, the European Commission, the Federal Reserve Board and the Reserve Bank of Finland.
