Since his reluctant return to the the Nightside all that time ago, life has changed a great deal for private eye John Taylor; and he's now settling down in that city of eternal darkness where he once vowed never to return. He's about to be married - to Suzie Shooter, the love of his life and the Nightside's most formidable bounty hunter. And he has a new job; he's replaced Walker, the Voice of the Authorities in the Nightside. This new life, and the responsibilities that go with it, mean it's time for Taylor to move on from his work as a private detective - but not before one last case. Yet, as ever in the Nightside, nothing is straightforward. Taylor's final investigation soon leads him to discover a threat to all of humanity - but saving the day would be much easier if he weren't on the run. With the entire Nightside suddenly against him, and his future spouse after the bounty on his head, happily-ever-after suddenly seems an unlikely ending for John Taylor.

Von uns werden digitale Bücher in drei Formaten ausgeliefert. Die Formate sind EPUB mit DRM (Digital Rights Management), EPUB ohne DRM und PDF. Bei den Formaten PDF und EPUB ohne DRM müssen Sie lediglich prüfen, ob Ihr E-Book Reader kompatibel ist. Wenn ein Format mit DRM genutzt wird, besteht zusätzlich die Notwendigkeit, dass Sie einen kostenlosen Adobe® Digital Editions Account besitzen. Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
Da E-Books nur für eine begrenzte Zeit – in der Regel 6 Monate – herunterladbar sind, sollten Sie stets eine Sicherheitskopie auf einem Dauerspeicher (Festplatte, USB-Stick oder CD) vorsehen. Auch ist die Menge der Downloads auf maximal 5 begrenzt.
